The EB-5 program was created by the U.S. government in 1990 to attract foreign investment and stimulate economic growth. It allows foreign citizens to obtain a green card by investing in a U.S. business project that creates new jobs. The investment process involves making equity investment in a private company that in turn invests raised capital into specific project. Despite high investment amount and costs, EB-5 remains one of the fastest and most reliable ways to obtain permanent residency in USA.
